Your first video, step by step

1. Create your account

Register and choose a plan. If a trial is offered, it starts immediately without a payment method; trial usage is capped.

2. Create a channel workspace

Onboarding asks for the channel name, niche, audience, language, country and content pillars. You can change these later in the channel workspace.

3. Add competitors

Add three to ten channels in your niche. With a YouTube Data API key configured, the first scan runs right away. Without one, load the demonstration dataset to explore the workflow (it is labeled DEMO everywhere).

4. Review outliers and research a topic

Open Competitor Intelligence, sort the outlier leaderboard, and send a promising video to research. Read the report’s factors and sources, then approve it to create a video project.

5. Produce

1. Generate the script, edit it, and approve it.
2. Run the fact-check and resolve anything flagged.
3. Generate the voiceover and approve it.
4. Generate thumbnails and pick a title.
5. Render the final video and review it.

6. Publish

Connect your YouTube channel in Integrations to upload directly, or download the video and record the URL after uploading it yourself.

7. Add API keys whenever you are ready

Add AI, voice, stock-footage and YouTube keys in Integrations to replace the built-in template engine and local narration with higher-quality providers. Each key is tested when saved.
